Wake Me Up When September Ends...

Yeeee! It's almost October. I love Fall! Halloween, crunchy leafs, candy corn, cold nights, trees changing colors, waking up earlier... :)

Friday, September 24, 2010: Brad Paisley concert
One of the best days of my life.. It was so much fun! I suck at directions so trying to find Usana was quite hard. But once we got there we waited about an hour and got to go in, and waited about 45 minutes till the cut the tape to let us on the grass. (Which was like an elephant stampede! Everyone was running soooo fast to try to get the best grass spot closest to the stage). My sister and I ran pretty face, and got a reasonable spot. We had to hurry and throw our blankets down to save Lauren and Meleea a spot.. which of course the blankets got moved because some drunk idiots threw them and spilled beer on Kiley's jacket. (Her new jacket, by the way.. which made her furious)! We sat and waited for a looooooooooong time. Kiley eventually got up while I reserved our spots and got me a strawberry-banana smoothie (which spilled everywhere.. what a waste of $5) and I got some kettle corn from the dude walking around selling it. Kiley also came back with these shirts...

Freaking amazing, right?!?! I love it. And it's a lot brighter then it looks.

Usana (and most other concert places) don't allow outside food or drink so of course we had to buy water bottles for $3.50/piece because the sun was beating down on us. Thank heavens it wasn't very hot on Saturday and there was a slight breeze.

There was two people opening for Brad. The first one, I have no idea who he was, and the second guy was Darius Rukus from Hootie and the Blowfish. He was amazing! And of course Brad was freaking good. LOOOOOVED IT!

But.. At least 9 out of 10 people were wasted. I mean, completely drunk. They were spilling beer all over our blankets, and smoking in our faces.. By the end of the night we smelled like an ash tray with beer all over us. Freaking disgusting! Our hair was the worse, it was making me so nauseous to smell myself.

After all the chaos, and waiting to leave Usana (about an hour wait to get out of the parking lot) we finally made it to Village Inn for dinner.. breakfast? Whatever. Oh, but we did get lost trying to find a place to eat, ha ha. Lauren's fault! There we waited, hmm, another hour for our food and we had the rudest waiter! He deserved his 80 cent tip. ;)

Basically, Brad Paisley was a great way to end September. Bring it on, October!
