Lucas Ryan Woolley
1. His name derived from characters: Lucas Scott, One Tree Hill and Ryan Atwood, The O.C.
2. The story of how we got him:
My parents came home from a long drive and parked my dad's large truck in the garage, (he usually doesn't do this because he had a diesel and it didn't fit). I went outside to get a drink from the fridge and saw a dog kennel in the back of the truck. I went in to my sisters room and told her about the dog kennel. We both contemplated this thought.. My parents DID NOT want a dog in our new house. The time it would take to potty train the puppy was also unavailable. We decided to talk to my parents and share our discovery. They just laughed. The next day my parents took my sister and I with on the same long drive they had taken the day before. It was to this really nice house. Talk about odd... We walked inside to see all these puppies in baby play pins. So cute! This lady had taken extremely good care of all the puppies. It was pretty amazing. We sat and played with the Boston Terrier puppies and all the other cute puppies when the lady came out holding my Wookie. The reason we couldn't take him home before was because his brother was sick and we didn't want to risk the chance of him being sick. We took him home, and LOVED the heck out of him. Cutest puppy in the entire universe. Super small too! The lady told us he wouldn't grow much bigger than that. (Which was a lie, just like the fact she said he wouldn't shed.) She also gave him a strict diet; like she did all the puppies. We were to feed him half plain yogurt, half beef baby food. We did, and he loved it! Christmas was only a couple days away. We wanted him to be warm because small dogs get cold easily so we stuck him in the front room with his kennel to sleep at night. We all went to bed and he was stuck in the front room by himself, whining ALL night long. I decided to sleep on the couch with my hand in his kennel for comfort. Ever since that day he's slept anywhere but a kennel. And he goes potty outside :)

3. Luke is allergic to any pork product, corn, brewers yeast (which is in pretty much all dog foods), and carrots. Therefore, any food he eats has to be expensive and special ordered from the vet.
4. He has Pancreatitis. Therefore, he has to be on a strict diet. He can't have table scraps and he has to eat this healthy dog food so he won't gain weight. It's equivalent to card board - poor puppy.
5. My poor pup is bloated all the time. He has to have pain medicine and steroids just to keep him feeling okay. (Most of you by now are probably thinking, "Just put him out." Well, no. Never. We love him so much. More than anybody will ever know. He's FAMILY.
6. Luke is half Chihuahua half Jack Russel. Adorbs.
7. Lucas has about a million nicknames, to name a few; Luke, Wookie, Bum Chicken, Pookie, Pooksters, Boobie, Woobasaur.
8. Bum Chicken likes to go on walks. Long walks. Most the time without a harness and leash. We don't let him, obviously. But sometimes he escapes and eats other people's cat food because he hates his food.
9. Lucas LOVES bacon. He's allergic to it.. But man does he love it!
10. His best friends are my kitty Jade and my sisters dog Eddy (it's a love-hate relationship with Eddy.) I guess his best best friend would be my mom. He follows my mom like a cat. My mom lets him sit on the counter while she's in the kitchen. He just wants to be near her, it's so precious. Oh, and I can't forget his ex-girlfriend Lucy. He killed her. He would "mate" with her all the time. He eventually got sick of her and ripped her in half and ate her eyeballs gone. He has a new girlfriend now. I forget her name.
11. From right off the bat, Luke has been a guard dog. He protects my mom like you wouldn't believe. Any time you "attack" her (pretending of course) he jumps on you and bites you - not hard - he's just playing with you.
12. He loves his warm coats. He has a UNIVERSITY of UTAH sweater that he wishes he could wear all the time. He has a furry coat - nicer than any fur coat I've never had. He's also got boots! But he hates those. He has a few Halloween costumes but he gets pretty mad when we put those on. (Cowboy and Fisherman.)
13. Everyone at the Vet loves Luke. They call him Lucas Ryan and get so happy when they see him. If they see us at the store their always like, "You're Lucas Ryan's family!" Indeed we are.
15. To describe Luke, I'd use one word: SPOILED. It's necessary to talk to him in a baby voice.

16. What I'm getting at - Happy birthday, Lucas Ryan Woolley! I LOVE YOU!!!
