Thanksgiving + Black Friday

I had a fabulous Thanksgiving with my family. Hayley also joined us and I'm so grateful for that. (If you're reading this -thanks for coming Hay, I know it was your 3rd Thanksgiving dinner that day.) Two turkeys - smoked and baked - lots of potatoes, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, apple crisp, and sooo much more food. I had a food baby for a good 5 hours after. Ha ha. After we ate the family just chilled around the house and chit chatted. Hayley and I went in the front room and watched Pocahontas with Bri and Maddy. I haven't seen that movie in forever! After everyone left we took a (few) catnaps and left to go shopping at 8!

Arriving at Walmart was a chore for sure. The parking lot was FULL. We parked in the closest parking spot, right next to Chilis. Walmart was so unorganized. We were so lost as to where the movies were set up at. After asking a good 5 workers (3/5 were clueless) we found the movies and stood in the crowd awaiting for the workers to cut the plastic so everyone could grab the movies.

We got there quite early, about 8:30. Hayley and I split up. We both got front row (right next to the movies in the crate.)

9:45 rolled around.. Then 9:50.. Then 9:58.. everyone was screaming and the worker cut the plastic. I was standing right next to the crates and got SHOVED right into it. I hurried and grabbed The Hangover and The Notebook and tried to escape to collect more movies from the other crates. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!! Pushing, shoving, kicking, screaming, sweat, body odor, yelling, fighting.. Just to name a few things that went on. Hayley and I originally had a plan to get the movies we wanted. SCREW THAT. Grab whatever the heck you can and we'll sort threw them at the register! We ended up with a lot of movies but most of them I already had. I ended up buying: The Big Bang Theory: Season 4, Fool's Gold, Another Cinderella Story, Marley & Me, P.S. I Love You, He's Just Not That Into You, Two and a Half Men: Season 7, The Hangover, The Notebook, Hellboy 2, and Public Enemies.. all for about $50 :) I'm not quite sure what all Hayley got but we're so happy we survived and go mostly what we wanted.

I'm sooo thankful nobody that I know of got hurt. It was absolutely crazy! I don't want to stand in the front again ha ha. Being pushed and shoved by everybody was not fun at all!

We came home and we're exhausted. Obviously we both passed out ;) I have a list of my movies on my laptop to keep inventory. I turned on my laptop to record my new movies when I noticed this...

Yup. My laptop is c r a c k e d :( I'm heartbroken. I saved up for such a long time for this!
Sorry, this post is all over the place. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and were safe if they ventured out on Black Friday.

Xoxo
